Gujarat State Financial Corporation announces changes in composition of Board of Director
Shri Swaroop P, lAS, Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat joined the Board of Directors of the Corporation and held ex-officio charge of Managing Director with effect from 4th February 2025.
Senior IAS Officer, Shri Swaroop P has taken over as Industries Commissioner with effect from 04/02/2025 in place of Shri Sandip J Sagale and he has also been appointed as ex-officio Managing Director of the Gujarat State Financial Corporation simultaneously.
Shri Swaroop P, lAS, Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat joined the Board of Directors of the Corporation and held ex-officio charge of Managing Director with effect from 4th February 2025.
Shri Swaroop P, lAS holds the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai, M.Sc (Applied Psychology) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, and M.I.D.P from Duke University, USA.
He joined the Indian Administrative Service on September 0 I, 2003 in the Gujarat cadre. He worked in various capacities with the Government of Gujarat Collector, Gandhinagar and Sabarkanta, Municipal Commissioner, Jamnagar and Vadodara. Before his joining as Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujaral, he was Commissioner of Land Reforms & Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department.
