Sushil Kumar Singh to hold additional charge of Chairperson at Mumbai Port Authority
Shri Sushil Kumar Singh is a member of the Group A central engineering service of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) of the 1993 batch. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Deendayal Port Authority.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chairperson (JS level), Mumbai Port Authority to Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME (1993), Chairperson, Deendayal Port Authority for a period of six months w.e.f. 02.04.2025 or till regular appointment to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Shri Sushil Kumar Singh is a member of the Group A central engineering service of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) of the 1993 batch. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Deendayal Port Authority.
Previously, he held the position of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, responsible for port modernization, automation, and other initiatives. He assumed the role of Chairperson at Deendayal Port Authority in July 2024, succeeding S.K. Mehta.
