Two major appointments other than CSS approved by Cabinet
The Union Government as Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved two major appointments.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Secretary (JS Level), Spices Board to Ms P. Hemalatha, IAS (KN: 2000), Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ for a period of six months w.e.f. 24.04.2025 to 23.10.2025 or till appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Further, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of School Education & Literacy for ex-post facto approval for entrustment of additional charge of the post of Commissioner (JS level), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) to Ms. Prachi Pandey, IA&AS (2001), Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy for the period w.e.f. 12.09.2024 to 19.02.2025.
