Power Grid Q4 Results: PAT stood at Rs 15,521 crore, declares final dividend

State-owned Power Grid announced the quarterly results for the fourth quarter of March-end. The company posts Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 15,521 crore and Total Income of Rs 47,459 crore for FY25 on Consolidated Basis.

The Revenue from operations is standing at Rs 10,982.55 crores on a standalone basis. On a Standalone basis, the operating margin is at 96% and the net profit margin is at 39%.

The Capital Expenditure is at Rs 26,255 crore and capitalized assets worth Rs 9,014 crore are on a consolidated basis.

The Board has recommended final dividend of Rs. 1.25/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each (@12.5% of the paid-up equity share capital) for the Financial Year 2024-25 subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company.

The final dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM.

This final dividend is in addition to the 1st Interim Dividend of Rs. 4.50/- per share i.e. @ 45% on the paid-up equity share capital paid on 4th December, 2024 and 2nd Interim Dividend of Rs. 3.25/- per share (i.e. @ 32.5% on the paid-up equity share capital) paid on 28th February, 2025 for the Financial Year 2024-25.

Further, the company has informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting held has inter-alia considered and accorded in-principal approval to the following proposals:

1. Sale of entire stake & exit from Torrent Power Grid Limited, a Joint Venture Company of POWERGRID and Torrent Power Limited; and
2. Sale of entire stake & exit from Sikkim Power Transmission Limited, a Joint Venture Company of POWERGRID and Sikkim Urja Limited.

Shares of Power Grid are trading down by 0.082% at Rs 303.80 at BSE.
