NRDC Celebrates National Womens Day
New Delhi: International Women’s day was celebrated in National Research Development Corporation, New Delhi to create awareness about empowerment of women at workplace and to celebrate the success of we all women. All the women employee participated actively. The theme for International Women’s Day 2018 was 'Press for Progress'.
It was a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. A strong call to motivate and unite friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.
We have deliberated on Vishakha guidelines to create awareness and the implementation procedure for the same which includes preventive measures and advantages of the guidelines.
On the occasion, CMD Dr. H. Purushotham congratulated all the women employees and encouraged for the significant contribution of the women employees to the organization.
Shri D. C. Joshi, Chief also congratulated the women employees and spoke about the gender equality at work as well as society. He told that India is fortunate to have many successful women at the corporate level. But there is a pressing need to do more. The new generation women have overcome all the earlier notions and proved themselves in all fields of life.
