All Stakeholders Must Join Hands to Bring Policy Change in Solar Energy Sector: DG SCOPE
New Delhi: Dr. U. D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE delivered a special address at the 10th Empower Solar program and 4th Solar Urja Puraskar 2019 held here today. Dr. U.D. Choubey said that non-conventional energy is key to developing the economy. Talking about the challenges in the solar energy sector, Dr. Choubey said that land is the biggest issue particularly in rural areas and awareness should be created by joining hands to promote solar energy sector. DG, SCOPE further added that R&D is another aspect that needs attention to cut imports of solar panels.
