NCL Bags Five PRCI PR Excellence Awards
Jaipur: Northern Coalfields Limited, has bagged five prestigious Public Relations (PR) Awards. The company has bagged excellence awards for its in-house magazine 'NCL Panorama', CSR newsletter 'Pallav', Rural communications are undertaken to promote Transform Singrauli Mission, Annual Report and CSR publicity works. The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) conferred these Excellence Awards to the Company in its 13th Global Communications Conclave held at Jaipur during 15th-16th February. This award is often referred to as 'Oscar of PR' and it is the first ever occasion when the company has bagged five awards in a go and that too on a national forum.
The Public Relations Officer, NCL, Shri Siraj Kumar Singh, the Deputy Manager (Personnel/Corporate Communications & PR), Ms. Purvi Srivastava, the Assistant Manager (Community Development) Ms. Parul Yadav and Shri Vivek Gautam received the awards on behalf of the company. The award was presented by senior journalist & former Rajya Sabha member Shri H.K. Dua and former Media advisor and spokesperson of the Prime Minister of India Shri S. Narendra. The 2-day conclave was inaugurated by the Chief Election Commissioner Shri Sunil Arora as Chief Guest.
The CMD, NCL along with the functional directors have congratulated Team PR and expressed hopes that the team will help NCL scale new heights in organisational branding.
Notably, in recent years NCL has been expanding its corporate communications and widening its public relations using conventional as well modern modes of communication to maximise message assimilation amongst its stakeholders which in turn is helping company bag national awards.
More than 200 organisations from public and private sectors participated in 13th Global Communications Conclave' organised on the theme of 'PR- What's the big idea' at pink city Jaipur.
