AAI signed an MoU for the Development of a new Greenfield Airport at Dholera
New Delhi: 'Airports Authority of India, has signed an MoU for the development of a new Greenfield Airport at Dholera in Gujarat in the presence of Shri Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister, Govt of Gujarat and Shri Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India on 19th January, 2019 during Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Dholera Airport is being developed as a Joint Venture among AAI, Government of Gujarat and National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).
The MoU facilitates Airports Authority of India for the establishment of Dholera Airport. The project is likely to kickstart in April 2019.
