POSOCO won three Gold Medals in different categories at AIMA Quiz Olympiad
New Delhi: Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has won 3 Gold Medals in different categories in a Quiz Olympiad organised by All India Management Association (AIMA) in SCOPE Complex New Delhi on 22nd January 2019. Total 5 teams from POSOCO have participated in the Quiz Olympiad.
Ms. Pinky Debnath of Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre (ERLDC), POSOCO became the first ever Miss Olympiad.
- Quiz team comprising of Ms. Pinky and Ms. Shabori from ERLDC won the gold medal in women's category.
- Quiz team comprising of Mr. Saif and Mr. Gaurav from National Load Despatch Center (NLDC) won the gold medal in New Technologies round.
- Quiz team comprising of Mr. Sudeep and Mr. Hirak from 'Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre' (SRLDC) won the gold medal in the Branding round.
Two other teams of Mr. Anupam & Mr. Pawan from NLDC and Mr. Randeep & Mr. Debjyoti have also participated in the Quiz.
It was the first ever Olympiad organized by AIMA with many events like quizzes, simulation competitions etc. POSOCO had sent only five teams while HPCL Limited, NTPC Limted, SAIL Limted and SBI etc. had sent 12 to 15 teams each. NTPC Limited participated with 15 teams alone and lifted the trophy.
Shri K.V.S. Baba, CMD, POSOCO congratulated all teams and appreciated their efforts to bring laurels to the organization.
