Shri K. Sreekant Appointed as CMD POWERGRID

New Delhi: Govt has cleared the appointment of Shri K. Sreekant, Director (Finance) POWERGRID Corporation as Chairman & Managing Director, Powergrid Corporation Limited. Earlier he was serving as Director (Finance) in the company. He also served as General Manager (Finance), NTPC Limited.

 

Shri Sreekant is an B. Com (Hons), CMA and PGDM (Finance) from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. he has more than thirty one years of experience in the power sector involving all facets of Finance & Accounting function and in particular, Long Term Financial Planning, Investment Appraisals, formulation of Capital Budgets, Resource Mobilization from domestic and international markets and Corporate Accounts. He was appointed as a Director on our Board in September, 2016.
