Team of ED HR RHQ IndianOil Undertook Swachhta Campaign at School
New Delhi: At Georgi Stoikov Rakovski Govt Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Defence Colony, New Delhi, under the guidance of Shri V K Shukla, ED (HR), RHQ, a Swachhta Ambassador at RHQ , the team of Swachhta doots organised a Swachhta awareness programme for the students of XII standard.
Ms. Anita Shrivastava, GM (CC&CSR), RHQ, exhorted all the girl students to adopt cleanliness as an integral part of one’s life. She urged the students to practise swachhta in action & not mere talks. Highlighting the contribution of women in shaping the society, she inspired all students to become Swachhta ambassadors & carry forward the mission voluntarily in one’s own way. Shri Rajan Arora, CM (CC&CSR) and Ms. Punita Agrawal, M (CSR), RHQ were also present during the occasion.
The highlight of the event was a fun-filled Nukkad natak highlighting the importance of Swacchta, sharing the advantages & disadvantages of keep one’s surroundings clean depicted in an humorous manner. The children really enjoyed the engaging and educative show. The students came up with amazing ideas on how to keep our society clean in the essay competition organised on the theme “Swachh Rahe, Swasthya Rahe” followed by a quiz competition on SBM. Few students also shared their views & presented an informative speech on Swachhta. The Vice Principal of the school, Mrs Lovely Wadhwa, thanked IndianOil for inspiring the students and welcomed them back to the school for imparting such learning experiences in the future also.
