Mines Ministry Hosts Roadshow for 5th Tranche of Critical Mineral Block Auction
Goa: The Ministry of Mines, organized a roadshow in Goa for the 5th Tranche of the Auction of Critical and Strategic Mineral Blocks and the launch of the 1st Tranche of Exploration Blocks, on 13th March, 2025. The event was chaired by Shri. G. Kishan Reddy, Hon'ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Government of India, Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Goa, Mr. V.L. Kantha Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Government of India and Dr. V. Candavelou, Chief Secretary, Government of Goa.
Shri. P. Ravindran, General Manager (Exploration), represented MECL and presented detailed technical insights on the mineral blocks, guiding prospective bidders in understanding their full potential and value. MECL has been the technical advisor to the Ministry of Mines for critical mineral block auction and a total of 15 mineral blocks were listed for auction during the 5th Tranche.
