The Appointments committee of the cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for appointment of Shri Ajit Kumar Mishra, Executive Director (ED), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of lndia Limited (DFCCIL) to the post of Director (works), IRCON lnternational Ltd.
Mr Mishra is currently serving as Executive Director (Contract Management) at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), a state-run PSU under the Ministry of Railways.

He has been selected for the new role by PESB interview held on February 1, 2025. The included candidates are from IRCON and one each from RITES Limited, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), DFCCIL, and Indian Railways.
