Bengaluru: 66th Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated in the BHEL- Electronics Division, Bengaluru on the 10th December 2021.
Shri A K Jain, Executive Director (EDN), presided over the colorful function, organized jointly by BHEL Management & BHEEA under the auspices of BHEL Kannada Hitarakshana Samithi,
On this occasion, Dr. C Somashekhar, IAS (Retd)-Chairman, Karnataka Border Area Development Authority; Shri H S Lakshminarayana Bhatta, Retd. Principal & laurete; Dr. Tamil Selvi, Head- kananda department, Madras University were felicitated for distinguished services in their respective fields. Shri Ananda C, Executive Director (CLD & PSG)-BHEL and employees retiring during the next one year and employee talents were also felicitated.
Shri Sa.Ra.Govindu, Chairman, Hon. President, Kannada Hitarakshana Samithi and Shri M Krishnappa, Ex-Minister and MLA, Vijayanagara Constituency graced the occasion, besides Shri Joy Alexander, AGM-HR; Shri H R Nagaraju, Vice President, BHEEA and Shri L Shivakumar, President, Kannada Hitarakshana Samithi.
An exhibition-cum-sale of Kannada Books was organized. A group dance and “ondu muttina kathe”, drama was presented by employee artistes troupe.
