20 lakh to each state where mineral blocks are available for auction: Pralhad Joshi
This will encourage exploration activities, auction regime, and sustainable mining practices in the country.
New Delhi: Union Minister of Coal, Mines, and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi on Tuesday, November 23 while addressing the National Conclave on Mines and Minerals discussed the strategic parts on key issues and opportunities in the mining sector, to bring it up the higher growth.
However, in conclave, he said that it has been decided to provide Rs. 20 lakh to each State where mineral blocks are available for auction. Moreover, for every successful auction of a block, a sum of Rs 10 lakh will be made available to States.
This will encourage exploration activities, auction regime, and sustainable mining practices in the country.
Pralhad Joshi said This financial help to States will strengthen mining infrastructure in the country. It can be used by States to boost capacity building, procure mining equipment and expedite auctions.
