32nd Annual General Meeting of PowerGrid held on September 24th
CMD, Shri K. Sreekant, addressed the stakeholders and apprised them of the latest developments and future plans of the company.
Gurugram: The 32nd Annual General Meeting of Government of India Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Power, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited POWERGRID) was held on Friday, 24th September 2021 through Video Conferencing. CMD, Shri K. Sreekant, addressed the stakeholders and apprised them of the latest developments and future plans of the company.
The virtual AGM was attended by CMD, Smt. Seema Gupta, Director (Operations), Shri V. K. Singh, Director (Personnel), Shri Abhay Choudhary, Director (Projects), Shri M. Taj Mukarrum, Director (Finance), Shri M. N. Venkatesan, Independent Director apart from government nominee directors Shri Mrityunjay Kumar Narayan and Shri Dilip Nigam.
POWERGRID has presently 172,154 ckm of transmission lines, 262 Sub-stations and more than 446,940 MVA of transformation capacity. With the adoption of latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, POWERGRID has been able to maintain average transmission system availability >99%.
