AAI to provide rs 1 cr worth equipment to AIIMS Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar on Thursday to provide medical equipment worth approximately Rs 1 crore.The AAI will provide six ICU ventilators, two portable ventilators and two defibrillators to the premier medical institute in a phased manner within a time span of one year. While AIIMS Director and Medical Superintendent are very proactive in extending medical infrastructure to the institute, AAI is always in the forefront for extending such facilities under CSR.
A few months back, AAI committed to extending around Rs 12 crore worth medical infrastructure development in the Capital Hospital, Niali Modern Care Hospital, St. John's Ambulance Centre and Akshaya Patra Foundation. An agreement has already been made with respective agencies to execute the project within one to two years.
