BPCL Launch of E-Drive
Lucknow . BPCL's Launch of E-Drive - India's first ever e-mobility solution of battery swapping for Eletric three-wheelers at Lucknow and Kochi by our Chairman & Managing Director, Shri D Rajkumar, in presence of Ms Sulajja Firodia, Founder & CEO, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Limited and Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, IIT Madras.
During launch Shri D Rajkumar said, ‘In terms of available technology, demand, government regulations and the overall direction of energy transition, this is a new and unique model for EV mobility, the first of its kind in the country.
We have adopted a unique Capex model wherein the vehicle would be owned by M/s Kinetic Green and BPCL, with robust back up support from IIT Madras, will provide the smart Lithium-ion batteries’.
