BPCL inaugurates Ahmednagar’s Natural Gas City Gate Station
The function of City Gate Station is to receive the natural gas from transmission pipelines and reduce its pressure to feed the distribution system or filling the cylinders.
New Delhi: Shri Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman &Managing Director, BPCL inaugurates Ahmednagar’s Natural Gas City Gate Station on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
BPCL mentioned, Commissioning of this facility marks the entry of natural gas in the city for automobiles, through CNG Stations, Industries, and households through either the pipelines or cylinders cascades.
The function of City Gate Station is to receive the natural gas from transmission pipelines and reduce its pressure to feed the distribution system or filling the cylinders. This would facilitate the development of environment-friendly fuel ecosystem in Ahmednagar city in Maharashtra.
