Bathinda Unit lifts NFL Inter Unit Badminton Trophy

Noida: NFL Bathinda Unit emerged Champion of 2019 edition of Inter-unit Badminton Tournament after a comfortable 3-0 win over Panipat in finals in Noida. Bathinda was also the defending champion.Both the teams were well prepared to claim the title after topping their respective groups during league matches.

 

Bathinda team started dominating from the first set onwards. It was apparent after winning the first match that they will be able to defend the title.

Mr. Akshit Awasthi of Bathinda was declared Best Male Player of the tournament. Ms Anu Singh of Vijaipur was adjudged Best Female Player.

Apart from employees of CO and CMO, the matches were witnessed by C&MD, Directors, CVO, including Mrs. Prarthana Mishra, President, Lotus Ladies Welfare Club, who motivated the players with her gracious presence.

 

Congratulating the winners and all the players on successful completion of tournament, Sh Manoj Mishra lauded the sportsman spirit displayed by all the players during the Tournament.Altogether, 6 teams, 4 from Units, Corporate Office and Marketing participated in tournament held from 25 - 28 November 2019.
