CMD RINL inaugurates Rooftop solar plant
CMD, Directors and senior officers of RINL at the Inauguration of Rooftop Solar Power Plant (PSU Connect)
New Delhi: Shri P.K.Rath, CMD RINL-Visakhapatnam steel plant, inaugurated Rooftop solar power plant at TTI building, VSP on 31st December 2020. Shri Rath told that RINL is always on the forefront in implementing environment-friendly projects and this is one of those. He congratulated the employees who strived hard to complete this project in time and encouraged them to maintain the same pace with the upcoming projects.
The rooftop solar power plant was designed, supplied, and commissioned by M/s Cleanmax Enviro energy solutions Pvt ltd, Mumbai as a part of a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years with RINL for setting up 500kW Rooftop solar projects. RINL’s Directors, EDs, Senior officers, Representatives of executive association and trade unions, and employees participated in the function.
Shri Kishore Chandra Das, Director (Personnel), RINL, the guest of honor also appreciated the VSGH collective for their dedicated services. He also lauded the cooperation and coordination rendered by the Town Administration Dept, HR Dept, and Works Dept in containing the Covid 19 in the premises of Vizag Steel and its Township. He reminded that VSGH took many timely health initiatives like making ready of fever clinic, Covid ward, ventilators and quarantine centers, etc. He thanked the Covid volunteers who offered their services during the critical period.
Merit awards were given to the Doctors and Nurses. The Gold medals were won by Dr. M. Sandeep in the Best Doctor Category and Smt. K Nagajyothi in the Best Nurse Category. Prizes were also given to the winners of the Friendly Cricket match conducted among the VSGH employees.
Shri K.H.Prakash, CGM (M&HS), and HOD of VSGH gave the welcome address. Shri A.P. Naveen Kumar, GM (Medical) presented the annual report. Sri M. Madhusudana Rao, GM (Medical) proposed the vote of thanks.
