FACT celebrates 50th National Safety Day
Safety Day was also celebrated in the Cochin Division of the Company in a similar manner. Shri Nithish Devaraj, Sr. Inspector of Factories & Boilers, Ernakulam, was the Chief Guest of the function. Shri Binny PJ, GM (CD), presided over the function.
Kochi: Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd -FACT celebrated the 50th National Safety Day in a grand manner at its Ammonia Complex on 8th March 2021. Shri Nithish Devaraj, Inspector. Gr I, Factories & Boilers Department, Government of Kerala, was the Chief Guest of the function. He hoisted the safety day flag and spoke during the occasion. CMD Shri Kishor Rungta delivered the presidential address.
Shri Anupam Misra, Director (Marketing), Shri R Manikuttan, GM (UC), and Safety Committee Members spoke. Shri Jayakumar G, SM (Safety), UC, presented a report on Safety and Health Surveillance. A book titled "Safety Petals" was released by CMD and Chief Guest. An audiovisual of FACT song was played during the function. Prizes for the various competitions were also distributed. Shri Sajo K F, DGM (Prod) Petro- UC proposed the vote of thanks.
