Focus on LPG Safety to achieve Zero accidents in VSP
Visakhapatnam: RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant conducted a three day special safety training programme on 'Safety in LPG Installations' for senior and junior level executives in Ukkunagaram on 24th June 2019. The programme conducted by the Safety Engineering Department of VSP in association with national Safety Council, Mumbai.
The faculty members from National Safety Council Shri A. S. Karmakar and Shri SC Chakrabarti highlighted the safety aspects in the industries with live examples and applauded RINL’s efforts and initiatives towards safety.
Shri MSV Krishnaiah, DGM (Safety) I/c RINL stressed the importance of safety in maintaining the LPG installations and practical implementation of all existing systems to achieve Zero accidents in his inaugural address.
Shri KVV Prasad, DGM (Utilities) I/C outlined compliance of VSP with regard to the regulations in the existing and upcoming units. Sri J Rajendran, DGM (Safety) welcomed the gathering.
