Himachal governor visits SJVN’s 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station
SJVN is working in the Hydro Power sector and other sectors of Energy Generation & Transmission in India & Abroad and is on the path of exceptional progress.

Himachal Pradesh: The Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shri Bandaru Dattatraya visited India’s Largest & SJVN’s flagship 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station. On his arrival at Power Station His Excellency was extended customary traditional welcome by Head of Project Sh. R.C. Negi and General Manager Sh. P.S. Negi. His excellency was also welcomed with Guard of Honour.
Project Head Sh. R.C. Negi apprised His Excellency about targets of Shared Vision set by Chairman and Managing Director Shri Nand Lal Sharma of making SJVN a 5000 MW company by 2023, 12000 MW company by 2030 and 25000 MW company by 2040, and various activities, which SJVN has undertaken for the benefit of the local population.
It was also informed about the various State -of -the Art technologies & equipment being utilized used in the Power House and various other activities that SJVN is undertaking under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
He praised the performance of SJVN and stated that the contribution of SJVN is exemplary in the National Interest, for which all SJVNites deserve appreciation. His Excellency further stated that SJVN is working in the Hydro Power sector and other sectors of Energy Generation & Transmission in India & Abroad and is on the path of exceptional progress.
