IGL providing skill development training to underprivileged youth under CSR

New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), one of India's leading natural gas distribution companies and being a socially responsible organization, has been undertaking several CSR projects covering various focus areas. One of its key CSR projects is providing skill development training to underprivileged/ unemployed youth.
 
Shri A K Jana, Managing Director, IGL & Shri Amit Garg, Director (Commercial), IGL today inaugurated IGL's CSR project "Youth Empowerment in Haryana through skill training" at Rewari. Also present were Shri Rajesh Pande, Chairman, Managing Committee, NYCS; Shri Prakash Sahu, President, NYCS; Shri Manjeet Singh, Sr. Vice President, IGL and senior officials from IGL & NYCS. National Yuva Co-Operative Society (NYCS) is the implementing partner of this CSR project.
 
About NYCS 

National Yuva Co-operative society Ltd. (NYCS Ltd.) is a multistate, a multipurpose cooperative institution that works towards making the youth economically independent by engaging them in various employment or self-employment related activities. The organization was formed in 1999 and registered under section 7 of the Multistate Cooperative Societies Act 1984. The main activities of NYCS are facilitating youth, creating self-help groups, entrepreneurship development, and capacity building of youth and other stakeholders for their economic empowerment.
