IGL signs MoU with Delhi Development Authority
New Delhi: A Carbon Sink is being developed at Barapullah Drain near Sarai Kale Khan by providing a green patch of plants & trees in form of an urban forest near its surroundings.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today, between Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
Present on the occasion were Prof. K. Vijay Raghavan, FRS, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India; Dr. Rajiv Kumar Tiwari, IFS, Principal Commissioner (Horticulture), DDA; Shri A K Jana, Managing Director, IGL; Shri Amit Garg, Director (Commercial); Dr. Shailja Vaidya Gupta, Senior Adviser, Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India; Shri Ashok Kumar, Director (Horticulture), DDA and senior officials from IGL, DDA and Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser.
