Indian Railways will run eight more trains from Sunday during the festive season

New Delhi: Good news for the people who want to travel their home during this festival season, the Indian railways are ready to run eight more rain in coming Sunday for the safe journey seeing the current pandemic and giving the more facility to their passengers. 

 

The central Railways first announced the first five special trains and now eight more trains are announced by the Central which is connected to the different cities of Maharashtra. 

 

The Maharashtra government on 30 September, allowed the railways to resume inter-state trains states the latest 'unlock' guidelines.

 

The railways released a statement which states that the operations of these eight trains will start from October 11. Two trains will run between Pune-Ajni, while one train each will run between Mumbai-Kolhapur, Mumbai-Latur, Pune-Nagpur, Pune-Amravati, Kolhapur-Gondia, and Mumbai-Nanded. All these trains will be fully reserved, which means that only reserved seats will be able to ride on them.

 

Pune-Ajni, Pune-Amravati, and Pune-Nagpur AC trains will run and operate once a week, while Mumbai-Latur Superfast Special train will run four times a week. Other special trains will run daily. Reservation for some of these trains will start from October 9 and the rest will start on October 11. 

 

On Wednesday, Central Railways announced special trains between CSMT-Pune (two trains), CSMT-Nagpur, CSMT-Gondia, and CSMT-Solapur from October 9. CR also said on Thursday that it will operate four special suburban trains between Pune-Lonavla for employees of essential services from October 12. On June 15, local train service has been started for employees engaged in essential services in Mumbai.
