Kochi refinery donated school bus to Mithram
Kochi: Our CSR commitment extend to people from various segments. Recently BPCL Kochi Refinery extended financial support for a School Bus to Mithram, a Charitable Society of parents of differently abled youth that works for educating, caring and extending livelihood programmes to support and also skilling mentally and physically challenged persons above the age of 18 years.
Their activities include services to day scholars who need care and training, residential care for persons whose families are unable to take care, respite care to help parents with short term needs and home based training for people who lack mobility.
The bus will aid in transporting partially home bound people to school for vocational training and also take caregivers to extend therapy at home.Ms Ancy Johnson, SM(PR&LW) handed over the keys of the bus to Mithram along with CSR Team members on 12/02/20
