MCL initiates personal hygiene sensitization programme in Basundhara
Basundhara: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) Basundhara, today organized a sensitization programme on personal hygiene. The youngest of the eight subsidiaries of 'Maharatna' Coal India Limited distributed the sanitary napkins, sanitizers, fabric bags, masks among contractual women workers, domestic working women, and ladies of nearby villages like Tikilipara, Khamarpada, Kuisira, Katelpani, etc.
The beneficiaries were also made aware of the importance of hygiene and do’s and don’ts by Miss Payel Patel, who is also known as Padgirl of Odisha. T-shirts, Cap, fabric bag, sanitizer, mask, etc. were also distributed among male contractual workers to mark their efforts towards Swachhta.
MCL has initiated various CSR activity and spreads awareness among the people. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited is one of the major coal-producing company of India and one of the eight subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
