Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited's New Year New Record, the highest ever Overburden Removal (OBR) by NCL on December 31, 2020. It removed 12,54,000 Cubic Meter of OB.
OB Removal implies removing topsoil in opencast mines to expose the coal seams and make them ready for coal extraction.
