NFL employees contribute one days salary to PM Cares fund
New Delhi: NFL employees have contributed one day’s salary to the PM CARES Fund, to fight the Corona Pandemic in the country. With 3419 employees in the company, it makes a contribution of around Rs. 88 Lakhs.
This was announced by C&MD, Shri Manoj Mishra today after consulting the Employees’ Unions and Officers’ Associations.Commenting on the contribution, Shri Mishra said, “NFL believes in supporting the efforts of the Government whenever any such need arises. Our contribution is a step towards this".
Prior to this, the company had contributed an amount of Rs. 63.94 Lakhs under CSR towards PM CARES Fund for the same objective.With this, the total amount contributed by company in the above fund becomes about Rs. 1.52 crores.
