NFL trained youth for employment in apparel industry

Noida: NFL, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provided training to 23 underprivileged youth as ‘Production Sewing Supervisor’ in Noida to help them secure livelihood. The company partnered with ATDC, Noida to train these unemployed youth through 8-months training programme in skills required for employment in Apparel industry. Special efforts were made to include maximum number of girls in this programme.

 

All the candidates have successfully completed the course. The training certificates were distributed to the candidates in a programme held on 09.01.2020 in NFL, Corporate Office, Noida. Even before completion of programme, 09 students have got placement in good export houses in Noida. During the programme, these students shared their life changing experiences as this CSR training programme has helped them in finding a gainful employment. NFL is imparting employbility linked training to youth in various skills in the neighbourhood areas of all its Units and offices.
