NHPC awarded for Best Performing PSE at PRAKASHmay 13th Enertia Awards 2020

New Delhi: Shri A.K Singh, CMD, NHPC receiving the trophy for Best Performing PSE for Excellence in Hydropower and Renewable Sector conferred to NHPC under PRAKASHmay 13 ENERTIA Awards 2020 instituted by REPA (Renewable Energy Promotion Association) and ENERTIA Foundation, at NHPC Corporate Office on 23 December 2020.
 
NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company has been awarded as 'Best Performing PSE for Excellence in Hydropower and Renewable Sector at the PRAKASHmay 13th ENERTIA Awards 2020. Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC was presented the award trophy and citation at NHPC Corporate Office on 23d December 2020. 
 
NHPC has been conferred this award for its sustained Performance and Delivery of Projects in the hydropower sector with 7.07 GW of Capacity Index via 24 power stations and is India's Largest Hydro Renewable. Asset Public Sector and by far India's largest Renewable Energy Company in the Public Sector with its forays into the Solar Arena (100 MW installed capacity of Solar and Wind) and awarded 2000 MW to Solar Power Developers (SPD) for interstate transmission system (ISTS) grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The award has been instituted by REPA (Renewable Energy Promotion Association) and ENERTIA foundation.
