NLC's huge foray in renewable energy, achieve Solar Capacity of 1 GW: Pralhad Joshi

Singrauli: Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Coal, Parliamentary Affairs and Mines of India reviewed the performance of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd (NLC INDIA, the largest opencast Lignite Mining CPSE in Asia. Pralhad Joshi lauded their performance in doubling the mining capacity during the last 3 years and increasing the power generation capacity by 50%.
NLC INDIA Limited is making a huge foray into the renewable energy sector and is the 1st CPSE to achieve a Solar Capacity of 1 GW. He urged company officials to keep working with the same zeal towards assuring the energy security of the nation and achieving all annual targets.
