NMDC Received coveted Rajbhasha Kirti Award

New Delhi: NMDC received “Rajbhasha Kirti Awards” Second Prize amongst Undertakings in “C” region. The award was given by Honorable Minister of Home Affairs Shri Amit Shah on the occasion of “Hindi Day” in presence of Honorable Ministers of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai and Shri G.Kishan Reddy and other distinguished guests. Shri Sumit Deb, Director (Per) received the award on behalf of NMDC.
 
This award is conferred on NMDC for the second consecutive year which shows NMDC’s commitment towards implementation of Rajbhasha. NMDC has also won “Rajbhasha Shield”-First Prize from Town Official Language Committee, Hyderabad and “Rajbhasha Sammaan”-First Prize of Ministry of Steel as also the “Best Magazine Award” for its Hindi House Journal “Khanij Bharati” during the year 2017-18.
 
NMDC is committed to increase progressive use of Rajbhasha by conducting Rajbhasha Technical Seminars, publication of Hindi House Journal regularly, conducting Hindi Workshops and competitions for staff of other PSUs in Hyderabad, organizing Monthly Hindi Competitions and quarterly Hindi Workshop for staff members and running a monthly incentive scheme for use of Hindi.
