NRL won awards in three categories of PRSI
New Delhi: NRL is pleased to announce that it has won awards in 3 categories of Public Relations Society of India National Awards 2020 - Social Media for PR and branding; Best use of Social media for COVID-19 and Hindi Journal PRAYAS.
The awards were given away at the Virtual Awards ceremony of PRSI National Awards held on 21 February 2021 in presence of Her Excellency Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Union Higher Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishankji presided over the awards ceremony in the presence of President, International Public Relations Association Mr. Philippe Borremans and President, PRSI Dr. Ajit Pathak. MD NRL Mr. S K Barua, Sr. CGM (CA) Mr. Nikunja Borthakur and DGM(CC) Ms. Madhuchanda Adhikari received the award virtually.
About NRL
Numaligarh Refinery Limited, a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum (61.65%), Oil India (26%), and Govt of Assam (12.35%). As of 2014, it had a capacity of 3 million metric tonnes per year. In January 2019, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved plans to increase the refinery's capacity to 9 million metric tonnes per year.
