NTECL Vallur bags Winners and Runners Up positions at 4th edition of AIMA
New Delhi: NTECL, a 50:50 Joint Venture Company formed between NTPC and Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company Ltd (TANGEDCO). Vallur Thermal Power Station is a power plant operated by NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company Limited. The NTECL Vallur team bags the Winners and Runners Up (2nd) positions at the 4th edition of All India Management Association (AIMA) Young Managers Simulation (YMS) (2020).
Members of the winning team (NTECL-Vallur) are Bebilson Mansingh - Manager (Operation), Prem Raj S - Manager(MM), S V D R Sankar Kovvali - Dy. Manager(FM)
Runners-up (2nd)- P. J Senkguttuvan, Sr. Mgr (Operation) NTPC-Vindhyachal, Chinnathambi G, Manager (C&I), Yoginder J, Manager (Operation).
There are 54 teams from GAIL, HPCL, SAIL, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Fortune, Diversey, Bennett, and Bridgei2i who participated in the competition. The competition was conducted in 2 rounds- Prelims during 01-02 Dec 2020 & 10-11 Dec 2020 and Finals on December 15, 2020.
With this achievement, Team NTECL-Vallur will be eligible to play in the Finals of the next edition of AIMA National Management Games (NMG) (2021) without participating in the regional rounds.

Young Managers Simulation is an endeavor to provide an excellent opportunity to the young professionals/managers to familiarize them with Business Management concepts and manage a business in the simulated environment.
