NTPC CMHQ organises workshop on 'Behavioural Safety' for employees

Ranchi: NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi organised a safety training program on “Behavioural Safety” on 23.09.2021 through virtual mode for employees of Pakri Barwadih, Kerendari, Dulanga, Talaipalli Coal Mining projects and Coal Mining Headquarters. The safety training is being conducted to strengthen safety awareness among employees & skill development initiative under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, to celebrate and commemorate the 75th year of progressive India and its achievements.

 

The faculty for the program was a reputed management trainer having expertise in organisational behaviour and psychology.

Following are some modules covered in the safety training:

•Acquiring a Safety Culture

•Nurturing a preventive mindset for avoiding Crisis

• What prevents us from being more mindful at work.

•Rearranging our mental pattern and form safe Habit

 

The training was conducted through Lecture, Anecdotes and real Stories, Discussion, Video clips. The training program was inaugurated by Shri Alois Topno, General Manager(HR), CMHQ. Shri Topno addressed the participants and emphasised on the importance of safety training. Shri Amit Kumar Dubey, Head of Mines Safety, CMHQ was also present during the inaugural session and reiterated on the role of behaviour and culture in safety. 35 participants took part in the training session, and it was appreciated by the trainees.
