NTPC's Women Leadership Conclave

New Delhi: The 2nd edition of NTPC's Women Leadership Conclave, a two-day event to celebrate women's leadership, grit, and inspiration, started on March 8th, 2021 at Power Management Institute. The Conclave hosts national-level women icons from diverse fields who share their journey and life lessons.
On the first day, Ms. Trishaljit Sethi (Chief Vigilance Officer – NTPC) and Dr. Sandhya Rao (Senior Water Resource Professional from IIT-Delhi, Founder - INRM and Marathon Runner) shared their journey. Ms. Sethi delivered a special session on 'Gender Sensitisation' and also conversed with participants on pertinent issues towards gender parity. Dr. Rao, who took to running and marathons at the age of 55 years and has completed more than 150 runs so far, urged the women employees to take charge of their health and fitness irrespective of their age and work commitments.
Shri M S D Bhattamishra, Executive Director (HR) congratulated all women leaders for their exemplary contribution in building the workplace, society, and nation. He also shared various initiatives taken by NTPC for empowering women.

On the second day of the Conclave, Wing Commander Shweta Batra and Squadron Leader Nehmet Waraich (two Officers from the Indian Air Force), and Ms. Shaili Chopra (Founder - She The People), will be part of a panel discussion in a webinar.
