PFC organised prize distribution ceremony for State Level National Painting Competition

New Delhi: The prize distribution ceremony for the State Level National Painting Competition held under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ was organized at the Conference Hall, Power Finance Corporation Ltd yesterday.

Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Additional Secretary (Power) was the chief guest accompanied by Shri RK Rai, Secretary (BEE), guest of honor.  Speaking for the event and giving a welcoming address CMD PFC Shri RS Dhillon appreciated the efforts of PFC in successfully conducting the event. 

The Ministry of Power had launched this National Awareness Campaign in order to promote energy conservation in the country. The painting competition for students has been included as one of the activities of the campaign, which would not only make aware the students of the need for conserving energy but at the same time would educate and involve their parents.

Atharava Keswani of Bal Bharti Public School, won the First Prize in the Group-A category (5th to 7th Std) and Utkarsh Bansal, from the Oxford Public School won the first prize in the Group-B category (8th to 10th Std) Vote of thanks was given by Director (Commercial) Shri PK Singh.
