PMUY has emerged as an important pillar of India's fight against Covid_19. The decision to extend the time limit for availing free LPG cylinders under PMGKY will benefit poor mothers and sisters who have yet not been able to consume the 3 refills provided to PMUY beneficiaries.
Approval for extension of EPF contribution of 24% (12% employees share and 12% employers share) for another 3 months from June to August, 2020 under the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan will benefit more than 72 lakh employees and will further provide relief from issues of cash crunch.
Capital infusion of ?12,450 cr. in public sector insurance companies, development of affordable rental housing (ARHCs) for urban migrants and poor will provide comfort to the needy, instil confidence in workers, businesses, MSMEs and several other sections of society.
Synonymous with the mantra of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas, decisions taken by PM Narendra Modi ji and the CCEA today will ensure welfare and all-round development of all the sections of society, especially the marginalised and poor.
