PRCI launched its 37th chapter at Nagpur

NAGPUR . Public Relations Council of India has launched its 37th chapter at Nagpur yesterday with a view to provide better communication opportunities among professionals and young communicators .The launch of PRCI Nagpur Chapter along with Young Communicators Club (YCC) was performed at the hands of Chairman cum Managing Director Western Coalfields Limited Shri. Rajiv Ranjan Mishra at Nagpur , while the keynote address of the was delivered by Shri. B. N. Kumar, Chairman - Governing Council, PRCI.
 
While addressing the professional gathering Shri. Mishra emphaszed on taking new initiatives and thinking out of box with innovative ideas. He quoted the example of WCL where out of box thinking has made a huge difference to the society. He shared the initiative taken by WCL to provide water discharged from coal mines for potable purpose on very nominal cost, which actually provided relief and source of income to the villagers. Mine Tourism, the first of its kind in the country was also such initiative.
 
Shri. B N Kumar said that in today’s scenario everyone who is holding a mobile in hand is journalist but this is to be rightly used as weapon. He advised the young communicators to start with broadcast through mobile and to grasp the opportunities to write and communicate for self development. Shr. Avinash Gawai, National Secretary, PRCI-YCC spoke about the young communicators club which has been launched in association with the Mass Communication Department at Dhanwate National College, Nagpur. Principal Dhanwate National College, Shri. Surendra Jichkar narrated that the media industry .
 
The launching ceremony was graced as guest of honor by Shri. D. M. Gokahle, Area General Manager of WCL, Shri. Rajesh Bobade, Coordinator PRCI, Vidarbha Region. The programme was hosted by Chairman, PRCI, Nagpur Chapter Shri. Asheesh Tayal, Secretary Shri. Abhishek Mohgaonkar, Jt. Seceratery Shri. Kundan Hate, Treasurer Shri. Nikhilesh Sawarkar, YCC coordinator Shri. Amar Aney, Publicity Coordinator Shri. Shashin Rai, Member coordinator Shri. Vijay Rajput and advisor - resource Dr. Baban Nakhle.
