Powergrid honored with appreciation certificate for valuable contribution in combating COVID-19 pandemic
POWERGRID had commissioned an Oxygen Plant for Haryana Government in Gurugram at a cost of Rs 2.88 Crore under its CSR initiative.
New Delhi: PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited has been presented with a certificate of appreciation for valuable contribution in combating the COVID-19 pandemic by district administration Gurugram. The certificate was presented by Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana to Shri V. K. Singh, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID at the 75th Independence Day celebration in Gurugram.
POWERGRID had commissioned an Oxygen Plant for Haryana Government in Gurugram at a cost of Rs 2.88 Crore under its CSR initiative. The plant can cater to 100 COVID patients or fill up 250 jumbo Oxygen cylinders per day.
During the lockdown, due to the COVID pandemic about Rs 1.5 Crores worth of dry ration and PPE kits were also distributed among the migrant labourers and needy in Haryana.
