RCF has conducted a Soil Testing Day

New Delhi: RCF has conducted a Soil Testing Day (Under Fertilizer Application Awareness Program) at village Vasagon on the occasion of World Soil Health Day in association with T.A.O. Dahanu and KVK Kosbad participated by 65 farmers guided by Mr.Santosh Pawar, T.A.O Dahanu, Prof. Uttam Sahane Scientist KVK Kosbad, Dahanu, Prof. Ashok Krishna Bhoir Scientist Soil Science KVK Kosbad, Dahanu, Shri Anil Nargulwar Agriculture Officer.

 

Following activities were undertaken:

 

1. Soil Testing and sample collection procedure were explained.

2. Soil testing reports were distributed by Agriculture Dept. & KVK.

3. Balance use of fertilizer as per Soil Testing report was emphasised.

4. Crops & Product Literatures were distributed.

5. Precautions to be taken during spraying insecticides were explained.

6. Farmers for method and product demonstration were selected.

7. Field visit was conducted.
