RINL launched Tree plantation and Swachh Bharath campaigns under SAFAI Pakhwada
The Projects Division of RINL took up this Tree plantation and Swatch Bharath campaign from 16th to 31st January 2021 in line with the directions of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India.

New Delhi: Shri KK Ghosh, Director (Projects), RINL, Sri R.Srinivasa Rao, CGM (Projects)-I/c, RINL, and senior officials of Projects division planted saplings as part of “Safai Pakhwada 2021”. The Projects Division of RINL took up this Tree plantation and Swatch Bharath campaign from 16th to 31st January 2021 in line with the directions of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India.
At a function held at the Projects office complex of Visakhapatnam Steel plant, the Projects collective of RINL of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant led by Sri KK Ghosh, Director (Projects), RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, actively participated in “Safai Pakhwada 2021” by taking the Swachhta Pledge.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Ghosh gave a clarion call to keep all the office premises, site offices, and its surroundings clean and always strive hard to make the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi become true in making a Clean India. He urged everyone to stop single-use plastic and Propagate Swachh Bharat Mission to make a clean and green India.
As part of the Safai Pakhwada 2021, various departments under Projects Division have taken up several activities like taking Swachhta Pledge, Mass Cleanliness Drives in the Departments, Shram Daan and cleaning of the common areas, premises, offices, Weeding out old files and disposal of unwanted items, Cleaning of lawns, gardens, and Plantation and spreading awareness about health, hygiene and precautions to be taken in view of the COVID Pandemic.
Several senior officials and employees of the projects division of VSP have actively participated in the Safai Pakhwada program.
