School of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Township And Staff Contributed To The PM-CARES Fund
Visakhapatnam: Pitching in to help manage the Covid-19 outbreak, the schools of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Township (Ukkunagaram) and its staff have voluntarily contributed to the PM-CARES Fund.
As a fine gesture, eleven schools of Ukkunagaram have contributed over Rs 6 Lakhs to the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation (PM-CARES) Fund to combat the corona virus pandemic.
Sri PK Rath, CMD, RINL appreciated the staff and students of Ukkunagaram schools for their voluntary contribution. He advised them to be torch bearers for strict implementation of hygiene practices and social distancing being advocated by government.
The contributing schools include DAV, DePaul and Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya (Ukkunagaram and BC Road branches), DPS, Little Angels, Siva Sivani, Jyoti Bala Vihar and Arunodaya Special School.
