Union Budget 2019-20 to Lead to All Round Development: DG SCOPE
New Delhi: Dr U. D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE has lauded the Union Finance Minister for presenting a pragmatic Budget with a clear vision of all round development for the emerging New India.
By committing Rs 100 lakh crore investment in infrastructure over next 5 years the Union Budget has given a substantial boost to the infrastructure, said DG, SCOPE adding the PSEs will have a greater onus in fulfilling Budget commitments in infrastructure sector.
Dr. Choubey said the Budget outlines an ambitious framework for boosting overall economic and social development laying greater emphasis on rural and urban infrastructure, e-vehicles, education, research, PPP model and ease of living which in turn will prove beneficial for the public sector.
Dr. Choubey said the Budget has made a breakthrough by proposing streamlining of multiple labour laws into a set of four codes.
