Vigilance Awareness Week -2019 concludes at VSP

New Delhi: Prof PVGD Prasad Reddy, Vice Chancellor, Andhra University was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Reddy said that integrity is a core value and honesty is a habit, we all should adopt these values for a wholistic approach towards success in  life.

 

He was the Chief Guest at the Valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week organized by the Vigilance Department of RINL-VSP in Ukkunagaram today. The theme of Vigilance Awareness Week -2019 was “ Integrity-A way of Life”.

 

On this occasion, Sri PK Rath, CMD,RINL said that integrity should be adopted as a way of life right from childhood and in an organization, there are several stakeholders and it is very important for an organization to be fair and transparent to its stakeholders in all its transactions. Vigilance is an important tool for an enterprise to ensure that ethical practices are widely prevalent in the organization, Sri Rath mentioned. He said that Preventive Vigilance & Surveillance plays a major role in ensuring ethical practices. He congratulated Vigilance Department for the successful conduct of the Vigilance Awareness Week highlighting the integrity and promotion of ethical values in the organization.

 

Sri PJ Vijayakar, IFS, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), RINL  spoke about the psycho - analysis of integrity  highlighting the role of key factors like ID, ego and super ego which effects the decision making and integrity of human beings.

 

Sri KC Das, Director (Personnel), Sri VV Venugopal Rao, Director (Finance), Sri DK Mohanty, Director (Commercial), Sri KK Ghosh, Director (Projects), Sri AK Saxena, Director (Operations)  Executive Directors, GMs, representatives of SEA, trade unions, WIPS, SC&ST, OBC association and large number of employees participated.

 

The messages of President of India, Vice President of India, Prime Minister, Chief Vigilance Commissioner were read out on the occasion.

 

Later, the dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions organized to mark the occasion.
