An Air India Express flight (IX-196) traveling from Dubai to Jaipur made an emergency landing at Jaipur International Airport due to a bomb threat received via email in the early hours of Saturday. Authorities confirmed that no suspicious items were discovered following the aircraft's landing. An investigation into the matter is currently underway. The flight, which had 189 passengers on board, landed safely at 1:20 am. Officials stated that the bomb threat was reported at 12:45 am on Saturday.
Upon receiving the threat, the flight crew implemented standard operating procedures, which included notifying air traffic control and preparing for an emergency landing. The aircraft successfully touched down at Jaipur International Airport around 1:20 am without any issues.
