BCPL employees financial assistance of rs.10 lacs to CM relief fund
New Delhi: BCPL employees have come forward once again by bringing in a financial assistance of Rs.10 Lacs to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the ongoing fight against COVID-19. BCPL employees have voluntarily contributed their one day’s salary and have taken this humble step to join all in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The cheque was presented to Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam by Shri Reep Hazarika, Managing Director along with a team of senior officials of BCPL on 20th June 2020 at Dibrugarh.
This is to also mention that the employees have earlier contributed an amount of Rs 10 Lakhs to Assam Arogya Nidhi towards the cause. In addition to this, the company being a socially responsive corporate entity has contributed Rs 20 Lakhs to PM Cares Fund towards the pandemic.
